Creators Grandview, Lead Teacher
Our children need a hand to hold as they discover the wonder and beauty of the world.
We’re on the hunt for a full-time Lead Teacher at our Grandview Centre who is just as curious as our children are.
Who we are:
Creators Educational Trust is made of a kind-hearted bunch who care an awful lot about our future. Our children have ideas and voices and through our curriculum we work hand-in-hand to shape a world we’d all love to live in, founded on the values of aroha and manaakitanga.
We believe in:
- Love and connection
- The Reggio Emilia Approach
- Nature play
- Value-based learning
What you can expect:
Creators Grandview is a licensed early learning centre for 60 children.
As Lead Teacher you’ll be inspiring our team to create a culture of discovery, liaising with local social agencies, working alongside whānau, contributing to the centre’s strategic direction, and being the first to celebrate the individuality and potential of every child. All with our core philosophy in mind.
Situated in the heart of Grandview, we believe that all children deserve the best. Our multi-cultural community provides a space where diversity is celebrated, and our design embraces the values of tuakana-teina and whanaungatanga. Our spaces are filled with rich materials and learning led by children's interests and ideas. With strong links into our community, we believe it takes a village to raise a child and consider it an honour to be part of the village.
Why you should apply:
- Great administrative support
- Reasonable hours
- Excellent benefits
- Daily opportunities to build the future on respect
